VERTEBRATE PALEONTOLOGY LAB TECHNICIAN/PREPARATOR

Carthage College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Vertebrate Paleontology Lab Technician/Preparator at the Carthage Institute of Paleontology. This is a full-time position that will require the Technician/Preparator to oversee the functions and activities of the Carthage Institute of Paleontology.
   
The Carthage Institute of Paleontology is housed in the Dinosaur Discovery Museum situated in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It is a federal repository for paleontological collections. The technician/preparator will work under the direct supervision of the paleontologist, maintaining the lab and the specimens in it, as well as providing instruction in the lab and field for students.
   
Qualifications: Masters Degree with primary emphasis in sedimentology; demonstrated instruction of undergraduates in sedimentology in the lab and field; experience in the collection, preparation, molding, and casting of vertebrate fossils.
