HYDROGEOLOGIST – NORTH DAKOTA STATE WATER COMMISSION

The North Dakota State Water Commission, Bismarck, North Dakota, is seeking to fill a full-time Hydrologist II position. The individual shall have at minimum, a master's degree in geology, hydrology, engineering or a closely related field. Significant course work in hydrogeology is required to oversee the exploration, development, and management of ground water resources throughout North Dakota. The individual should possess a fundamental understanding of the occurrence, movement and quality of ground water, a working knowledge of standard ground-water analytical methods (aquifer-test analysis), and computer modeling of ground-water flow. In addition, the individual should possess basic computer skills (OSX and Windows available) with working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software and GIS.
